About The Translator
Hi! I’m Lena Lee.
I am an interpreter, translator and artist based in Jingdezhen.
Since 2019, I have been assisting artists from all over the world who came to Jingdezhen with a vision. I assisted their artwork to be done from making to shipping.
I love working for kind and energetic artists who share the same passion to create. I help them not only to communicate with local ceramists and crafts-men, but also live more comfortably in a foreign country. (I love showing you the cool places and finding ceramic community in Jingdezhen.)
Since 2019, I have been collecting pottery terms and learning about the pottery industry of Jingdezhen to translate more efficiently and professionally.
Whether you come to Jingdezhen to travel, learn more about the culture, produce ceramic products, or prepare for an art show, with a bit of translation help everything will go more smoothly.
What I do for artists?
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the amazing artists who came to Jingdezhen to make their artworks and groups of young artists came here as a journey of exploration. I support them with language, connection, communication, management.
No matter if you want to make master pieces on a wheel or want to achieve sculpture accomplishment, Jingdezhen is the right places to make things happen by magic hands of the local craftsmen.
When traditional meets modern arts, east meets west, stoneware meets white bricks, celadon meets raku, you will find yourself on a magical journey in your hand.

If you are an artist who do not want to come to Jingdezhen rely on a residency service or be willing to have your own studio run
-ning in the city, all you need is language help and making-pro
-cess management.
I assist artists finding the right studio and apartment in Jingdezhen, as well as finding the local craftsman help to complete artworks, including supplies shopping, mold making, slip casting, mold pressing, throwing, trimming, kiln, blue and white painting, on-glaze painting, packaging design, transportation and so on.
如果你是一名艺术家，且不想依托于一个驻场机构来景德镇进行自由创作。我将会协助你在景德镇寻找合适的工作室、公寓住所，并帮助您找到合适的本地制瓷工匠、去完成你图纸上的作品。我能给予的帮助包括原材料的购买，寻找翻模、注浆、印坯、拉坯、修坯、烧窑等制瓷服务，最后到作品包装订制、作品打包与国际物流运输等。
